Siera was born in Kalria to two loving parents who conveniently died when she was seven. Having nowhere else to go, she was shipped off to live with her only remaining relative - her mother's brother. A respected general of Dakan who had never married and never intended to, he was rather less than pleased at finding himself stuck with a young girl to take care of. Especially since her father had been born and raised in Kalria, and everyone knew what sort of people lived there. The fact that his sister had eloped with said man only made matters worse. But Siera's uncle decided to try his hand at making a model citizen out of her, which proved to be utterly impossible. Frustrated, he took to paying her as little attention as was necessary instead.

On the day after her eleventh birthday, she was dragged back to his house with an X branded on the back of her left hand - a punishment for having stolen something from a local shop since her uncle had purposefully forgotten her birthday. Assuming he'd even bothered to find out the date in the first place. Her uncle was beyond furious, and much to Siera's surprise, she discovered that he did all in his power to keep her theft secret. He even went so far as to lie to his superior officers and to anyone else who asked about the idle rumors passing around.

Three years later found her with another X branded on the back of her left hand, but despite that she had been far more successful than the first time, as evidenced by the handful of baubles she sold a few days later. Her uncle refused to speak to her for a month, and required her to wrap both her hands in cloth to cover the twin Xes. He also forbid her from leaving the house unless it became absolutely necessary, and he made certain to keep a close eye on her - even going so far as to station a guard outside the door.

At nineteen, after quite a few successful robberies, Siera messed up and was caught yet again. However, this time her uncle stepped in on her behalf. After quite a lot of arguing, it was decided that she would be given a third X and banished from the country, while her uncle's hand would be chopped off instead of hers. Siera wasn't given a say in the matter, and a story about a mess of gang members with knives surfaced to explain her uncle's missing hand.

As for Siera, she discovered that one of the guards sent to escort her conveniently had a similiar body build and was easily duped and relieved of her uniform. The guards, fearing punishment for messing things up, returned to their superior officers with the news that the girl had been safely escorted out of the country. Even though it wasn't quite true.

Since then, Siera has been living through various means, often taking advantage of people's sympathies for sad tales, and hardly ever being truthful about anything. She created enough potential personas for herself that she could adapt to any situation with hardly any effort. It was a few weeks ago, while staying with an incredibly gullible young couple under the guise of a scatterbrained and horribly lost schoolteacher that she found a rather nice looking journal in the bottom-most drawer of a dresser. When she left the following morning, the book went with her, as she figured she could sell it for money when she ran low.

It wasn't until a few days ago that she remembered it was in her bag, and when she flipped through the pages, she lost what little remained of her true persona. She no longer responds to the name 'Siera,' or even recognizes it as having once belonged to her, and her persona has become as easily changed as the wind.

Up until she flipped through her journal, Siera was a cunning young woman with excellent ingenuity and a quick wit. She had few, if any, scruples, and acted as if she were everybody's friend. She would sidle up to strangers and chatting about their families, their day, the weather - all the while casually relieving them of whatever they happened to have that she could find useful. And she could make just about anything useful. She was a compulsive liar, a thief, and could (and would) change both her persona and anything else to match her situation. Her lies were just so believable that people couldn't help but trust them. For Siera, the world was a stage, and she was an excellent actor.

That is, until she ceased to be the 'actor' and existed solely as the created 'characters' themselves.

Siera is anyone and everyone you could ever potentially meet. She's your best friend, your most bitter enemy, and everything inbetween. She's you, your lovers, your family; she is everyone except a young woman named Siera who lost her parents and was raised in Dakan under the stern eye of her uncle. Her persona often changes to mirror whoever she is speaking with. This sometimes leads her to speak to herself in private, though as one persona to another. Everything about her can change at a moment's notice, and she can fake tears or laughter or anything else she needs with the greatest of ease.

-> Merriweather - a scatterbrained yet motherly schoolteacher with a pendancy for getting lost.

-> Getty - the worst mercenary-in-training to ever exist, who can't spell to save his life.

Siera has long dark hair, naturally reddish-brown eyes and pale skin, and always seems to have a smile or a smirk on her face. She'll wear pretty much anything, depending on the situation, but her outfit always includes some sort of accessory that covers the marks across the back of her left hand. If she plans on being a quiet schoolmarm today, then she'll dress conservatively and tie her hair up in a bun. She even has a pair of plain glasses she adds sometimes for effect. Often, however, she'll wear form-fitting clothing in darker colors, since that makes it easier to blend in with a crowd. She'll change her behaviors to match her current persona, and the people around her. Her voice is low and sweet and always sounds so very concerned.

Her PB is Lust from Fullmetal Alchemist.
